The MUCC Tour 2011 “Chemical Parade” kicked off at a 2 day event at the Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall. The tour includes songs from their new album “Karma,” which was released in October 2010. With the beginning of the new year, the tour officially got underway in Europe on January 15, 2011.
This European tour will visit six venues (each with capacity of 1,000 or over) in Moscow, Finland, Hungary, Germany, and France.
En route to Moscow, there were some mechanical problems with the plane in Germany. The band members had to wait a few hours at the airport. But the trouble was soon cleared up and MUCC managed to arrive safely in Moscow. Even after such a harrowing experience, the members showed no sign of fatigue and entered the venue excited to be in Europe.
The first show at Tochka Club was a fantastic venue to start the tour. It functions as a club at night, and therefore provided a large-sized space that was perfect for an audience experience. Outside, the sky was cloudy with a smattering of snow, and the temperature was -5 degrees even during the middle of the day. The venue itself was of course warm, but lo and behold MUCC fans were waiting outside in the sub-zero temperature to greet the band.
As soon as the doors opened fans flooded in. They were so excited that even an hour before the show they were calling out the band’s name and member’s names. Apparently “MUCC” is difficult to pronounce in Russian so it sounded as if they were saying “MOCCO!”
The show finally started at 8:30 pm. As MUCC started playing some of their favorites with full-on intensity, the venue exploded into feverish excitement. Just watching the crowd reaction (which seems crazier than Japan) is amazing because you realize how welcome MUCC’s music is overseas! That’s the power of music. We don’t have to recount the set list that was especially arranged for the Euro tour here, but let’s just say it has a good mix of songs that MUCC doesn’t usually play. It has been tailored a little for overseas tastes—so the there is a little difference between the Japan and the overseas versions of the tour.
The Euro tour has just begun. It will be interesting to see how the “Chemical Parade” takes shape in Europe and what it has become when it returns to Japan for the 2 day finale at the Budokan in May.

Я склоняюсь просто к тому что русская у звучит не так, как у японская ))) вот японцы и слышали вместо японского у о ))
